Porcupine Warriors Secure Promising Talent: Dogo Yakubu Signs for Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have bolstered their attacking ranks with the acquisition of 21-year-old striker Dogo Yakubu. The forward arrives from MidCity Football Academy on a three-and-a-half-year deal, signalling the club’s intent to invest in hungry, youthful talent for the future.

Yakubu has been handed the number 42 shirt, officially marking his integration into the squad. He joins training immediately, looking to make an impact in the second half of the season. Known for his blistering pace, intelligent off-the-ball movement, and clinical finishing, the youngster offers a fresh dynamic to the Kotoko frontline.

Head Coach Karim Zito has hailed the signing as a strategic move, emphasising a long-term project to groom exceptional young players into first-team staples. “Dogo represents the future,” Zito remarked, suggesting the club is committed to providing a platform for development.
