Fighting corruption in Ghana has been ridiculous for years now. Everyone in the country is thriving to get rid of corruption, but to no avail.
Politicians, economic tycoons, chartered accountants, and many more have implemented strategies for dealing with corruption, yet nothing is happening.
Prior to the 2024 presidential election, the former president, who is also the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, was promising Ghanaians to get rid of corruption if voted to power, despite the current state of corruption in the country.
The vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, is also preaching the same message to electorates.
Ghanaians with much concern about which of these two could help fight and eradicate corruption in the country shared their predictions and interest with the media today when speaking to Ahenkan FM reporter Ohene Gyan-Arthur.
