The people of Akyem Soabe in the Denkyembour district of the Eastern region have hailed an aspiring assembly member for the community, Theophilus Amponsah, popularly known as Baba, for his kindness and passion for the Akyem Soabe community.
According to them, Baba has been fixing street lights whenever they spoil, seeking justice for his people always, creating jobs, etc.
Some acknowledged to him that, recently, he has saved them from bad roads from Kade main road to Soabe and Wenchi to Soabe because of massive reshaping, grading, and filing of huge potholes.
The Aspiring Assembly Member for Soabe Electoral Area, Theophilus Amponsah, said he has the community at heart, which is why he has been helping the community since, and all the funds are his profits from his mining site.
He stated that, aside from the road grading, he has renewed over 1300 NHIS for free, 23 street lights, created jobs for the youth at his mining site, etc.
