The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kofata Motors, Emmanuel Bright Obeng Nyarko, also known as Great Kofata, has cut-sod for the construction of a 70-seater ultra-modern ICT center for Ayirebi Senior High School (AYISEC) in the Akyemansa district of the Eastern region.
On behalf of Great Kofata, Kofata ICT centers’ project coordinator, Dei Stephen Solomon, also known as Dj Ahuofe, said in an interview with Freshnewsgh.com that the building will have a store room, washroom, and offices, among other things.
He stated that construction for the ICT center commenced immediately after the sod cutting on Thursday, February 1, 2024, and is expected to be completed in 2 months.
Dj Ahuofe mentioned that Great Kofata had originally intended to build an ICT center as part of his ICT centers agenda for the Akyem Kotokuom community. Sadly, they received a request from the Ayirebi Secondary School to sponsor them as they prepare to celebrate their 30th anniversary in June 2024, therefore, Great Kofata made the decision to construct the ICT center in order to support the school before its anniversary.
Ahuofe said, “Kofata awarded the contract to the well-known school mason, Kobbie, instead of an outsider, so he could profit from the work as well.”
Great Kofata has already commissioned three ultramodern ICT centers for Akyem Bontodiase, Akyem Adwafo and Akyem Asuboa North all in Akyemansa district.
