The leadership of Akyem Moffram in the Asene Manso Akroso district of the Eastern region discovered a marvel snake palm tree that coiled like a snake.
The palm tree has been attracting some visits.
The residents claim that since the discovery of the snake palm tree in a bush, tourism experts from Ghana and elsewhere have visited the location and offered suggestions for its development into a conventional tourist attraction.
In order to bring in money and jobs, In an interview with Ahenkan News on Thursday, November 29, 2023, the people of Akyem Moffram urged the government to take control of the area and turn it into a well-known tourist attraction.
In the words of Nana Kofi Akroma, the acting Odikro of Akyem Moffram, they found an unbelievable snake palm tree in 2002.
According to him, the community’s chief and elders are determined to work with the government to develop the area so that it benefits both the community and the country.
The Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Alhassan Seidu, indicated what he has done so far about the development of the place.
