DLE: Baah Asante Tops Assembly Member Aspirants In The Akyem Oda-Nkwanta Electoral Area – Survey

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, Mrs. Jean Mensa, announced in April 2023 that the District Assembly Elections will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, across the country.

Mrs. Jean Mensa indicated that the 2023 District Level Elections (DLE) will take place in all 6,272 electoral areas in all districts, with the exception of Nkoranza North and South in the Bono East Region.

As a result, Ahenkan News has started speaking with voters across various electoral areas to find out where they stand and why.

Ahenkan news reporter Nana Akua Adepa interacted with the residents of the Akyem Oda-Nkwanta Electoral Area on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, to determine who they would vote for in the forthcoming District Assembly Elections.

The aspirants are Bismark Agyekum, Asante Ebenezer, a.k.a. Joe Larbito, Emmanuel Baah Asante, and Patrick Nana Badu, a.k.a. Nana B, excluding the current Assembly Member, Hon. Dennis Obeng Agyei, a.k.a. Dennsa, who is now aspiring to be an Akyem Oda NPP Parliamentary Candidate.

After the survey, Bismark Agyekum had 10%, Asante Ebenezer had 15%, Emmanuel Baah Asante had 65%, and 10% said they would vote for Patrick Nana Badu.
