In order to ensure speedy growth and development in our communities, the Omanhene of the Odau traditional area, Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe, who also serves as Akyem Etweresohene in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region, has advised all Ghanaians to take community labor into consideration.
According to Daasebere Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe, The strength of collective work is one instrument in the arsenal for creating a nation, adding that it is something that cannot be overlooked in the twenty-first century.
He asserts that a community can successfully address its problems through collective labor rather than depending on the government.
During the opening ceremony of the annual Akwantutenten Festival at Akyem Etwereso in the Daasebere Ofosu Kwabi, he declared that community leaders, including chiefs, assembly members, opinion leaders, and unit committees, ought to take the lead in resolving issues within their respective communities.
Since we cannot always rely on the government, Daasebere Ofosu Kwabi makes an appeal to Ghanaians to donate their fair share to diverse communities in order to address their issues and concerns.
Meanwhile, Daasebere Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe urged the general public to band together in order to speed up the development of the community.
He said societies were developed through unity and active participation of all the people in the initiation and implementation of programs and projects that could help uplift the people from their current situations.
